At this point it's been almost a month since my last blog. I promise not to turn into a monthly blogger, life has just been busy between being home for two weeks, and getting back into classes here. It was great to see everyone that was around while I was in town. It would have been nice if my time home coordinated with some of your spring breaks, but I can't have everything. Since being back I think I finally have both my Germany and Fall UIUC classes picked, though I need to pick a schedual for uiuc still. I've been sick ever since getting back with whatever I caught at home, which has been dragging me down, but I'm hoping that goes away soon.
Friday, as per my comment in response to Brittney, I will be spending the majority of the afternoon to post at least some pictures from everywhere that I've been. It seems I need her proding every once and a while to force myself into sitting down and working on the cite.
L'Auberge Espagnole - Barcelona für ein Jahr is a great movie about a French student spending a year in Barcelona. There are rumored to be three versions, all in French but one with German subtitles and one with English. I highly recommend it to get an idea of what life abroad is like, though I don't know what the English version is called. I definitly can relate to the feeling of being somewhere different at first, but the later finding it as almost home as home becomes a distant idea. The movie also made me realize that I need to try harder to keep in touch with everyone back home because I already feel like I don't know some of you anymore when we do get a chance to talk.
In the near future I may post a more personal blog, as per Katie's request, related to "my thoughts". But I'll have to seen how things go in the next week or so. Now I have to read 25 pages in German on the German work force market and politics.
