Dell 710m

A little piece of fame in the world of Dell owners earlier this year. Unbeknownest to me one of my posts on the Dell community forums complaining about Dell's disregard for known hardware flaws has made the main website fighting for a recall back on 4/17/06 (Their year is wrong). I feel a bit honored by the post, and support the website's effort. Unfortunately the website seems to be just an indexed page by google. The link to contact them no longer works. I wonder if they gave up, or if Dell forced their hand in some way.

At the time of all the turmoil I was extremely upset with Dell and wrote them a wonderful letter explaining my displeasure. Since then I have sadly become uninvolved. After watching Syriana tonight which deals with the corruption in big business oil industry I decided to see how things were coming along with the 700m/710m recall process. It is for that reason that I have finally written to the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commision regarding Dell knowingly selling faulty products.

In the event that other upset 700m/710m users happen across this website, I recommend that you visit the linked website and write your own letters to the BBB and FTC.
