Finally pulled off a large party at my place tonight. I spent most of the afternoon rearranging and cleaning my place to accomodate 25+ people. My roommates all seem to like the new arrangment, so I think we are going to leave it alone now. People began showing up around 9:30 and starting through the 40 liters of beer that I had. By 11:30 the place was rolling with the international students with tons of socializing, a card game, and music. Things remained lively till 4:30pm when the last group of people took off for their places. Nia stuck around and drank till 7am with Malta, my neighbor, and me. We managed to demolish a hugh bowl of pasta each, chicken nuggets, and mashed potatoes between 5:30 and 6:30 am. We just couldn't eat enough. Around 7:15am we headed to Nia's building to watch the sunrise because it's has 15 stories, mine has 6. I past out on Nia's couch after a cup of tea around 7:45 and then woke up around 9:15 and headed home. Crawled back in bed around 10 after cleaning my place a bit and sending an email. Slept on and off, more off, till 2:30 when I gave up on sleep and decided to get up and finish cleaning, which didn't get finished till sunday.

All totaled we drank around 25 liters of beer, or 50 bottles, between about 14 of the 24 people. Of that Nia managed 3 liters, and 3.5 liters for me. I don't know how she pulls it off being 50% lighter then me. Though she was a bit more messed up then me I can say that I've been drunk since I passed out on the couch. To my credit though I had been up for 24 hours as well, spent the afternoon cleaning the place, and then swimming for an hour from 5-6pm. So there were some other things going against me.

This evening was also the first time that Jessica joined the group. She's studying in Boston and currently lives in Naperville, IL. The world is amazingly small sometimes. Who could imagine that I would meet someone half way around the world that lives 15 miles from me. Jessica was keeping up with me in the beginning, but had to stop after 2 liters to catch the last bus back to here place. She is unfortunately in the student apartments on the other side of town because it makes it difficult to get together.
