Part 1 of European Culture

GBE. stands for Great Britain English

1) Pant = underwear in GBE
2) Jeans = trousers in GBE
3) I have yet to meet a truly snobby French person.
4) None of the French people hear laugh with that stereotypical laugh.
5) If you don't like cigarette smoke, you'll hate Germany, Italy, and a few other countries.
6) Almost everyone 25 and younger can speak English in most European countries along with another foreign language.
7) German's with blond hair and blue eyes are few in number compared to brown hair brown eyes.
8) Scandinavian’s have more blond hair blue eyed people, but none of the girls here do.
9) Scandinavian guys are all over 6 feet, 170lb with blond hair and blue eyes. (At least here. It's like being in a Calvin Klein ad.)
10) Most Europeans learn all 50 states in school, yet most Americans can not even name all the European countries.
11) Europeans karaoke to American songs in English are loads of fun to watch, especially when they're drunk.
12) "male" in Italian means "schlecht" in German which means "bad" in English. I wonder if there's a reason for that, huh girls?
13) Most Europeans go to High school for 3 years and then 3 years of college for a degree.
14) Danish kids are in the same class from age 5-16, then as per 13.
15) No country has a drinking age higher then 18 with the exception of Norway where it's 21 for hard liquor, 18 for beer and wine.
16) ...

Ps. - we're down to 5 guys from 8 in the linguistics class. I understood the entire lecture too.
