I'm rudely awakend at 11:30 by the guy below me playing music way too loud. It's louder in my room then when my alarm clock goes off, and its Saturday morning. It's only one song, so I just try falling asleep. Ten minutes later the same song goes plays again then stops for 10min. This occurs for the next 45 minutes at which point I decide that I have stuff to do anyways, so I role out of bed. I spent the afternoon doing laundry then went shopping with Nia and Friday to get food for a surprise party for James. He was in Turkey for his 18th bday so we never had a chance to do anything.

After shopping we head back to my place and divide up the food and then start cooking dinner and Frida's making a fruit torte (Chris has been baking cookies at his place). James comes over while Frida's making the torte, so we get a little nervous, but making deserts for our weekend dinners is not unusual for us. After he disappears the final touch is to write out 18 with pieces of fruit and throw the pan of turkey breast and potatoes in the oven to bake. We ate around 8:30 and everything turned out great. It's unforunate Sheena was in Berlin for the weekend, but she had fun, and Giovanni's parents where over, so niether of them could come. During and after dinner we were telling our ghost stories, and Chris had tons of local legends. I pulled out the cake and totally suprised James. So all was well.
We were supposed to go clubing at this point in Frankfurt, but that didn't happen. Jessica ended up going with her friends that were in town. Instead we stayed at my place telling stories and working through 4 liters of wine between 4 of the 5 people. Around 12 Chris took off as we started listening to techno music. There's a fascination amongst them to see me dance as if I had rave lights because none of them feel they're that coordinated. So being on my way to relaxed from the wine and a bit of vodka I gave them a little show that Nia wonderfully captured on video. It also includes me trying to teach Frida and Giovanni, both of whom are hillarious. It was an early night ending at 2am.
