France! Made it to France finally, though I really didn't get to to anything there. Jessica had some sorority sisters over this weekend that are studing in Nancy, France. They had train problems getting here, so Jessica rented a car and picked them up. Last night the two of us drove them back to Nancy. So I've crossed the boarder, and drove around one town. We left here at 6:30pm, so I didn't really see any of the countyside though it looked mostly like trees where we were driving. We made it back at 2am.
Friday night I had people over for dinner. I made chilli/sloppy joes, an apple cake, and these German cookies with jam that looked like wind mills. The cookies were something new from a German baking book Sheena gave me for my birthday. There are definitly some other deserts worth trying from the book on a weekend that i have more time to prepare things.
Saturday night the normal group and Jessica's two friends went to a nice German restaurant for dinner. Afterwards Jess, her friends, Chris and I headed to a bar while the others headed back to the dorms for the 80's party. We eventually made it back to my place for a couple hands of President then headed to the party too.
