Arrived in Rome around 1pm after getting up at 4:30 am for our flight. After finding an amazing little pizzaria we took an evening walk through the city. St. Peters square is unbelievably hugh, and the cathedral looked impressive from the outside, but the inside was on hold till Tuesday. We then walk toward the center of the city and Plaza Novona. From there we headed to Gioncolo park on the top of a hill overlooking the entire city. It offers an amazing view of Rome at night.
