Arrived in Barcelona safely though disappointed. The weather was rainy and cold, not the warm sunny paradise we were expecting. We took the subway to the nearest stop to our hostel and then started walking based on the directions I had. We stopped to verify and were told it was 5 minutes away, k sounds good. After walking for 5 minutes we asked again and had the same 5 minute response, which occured a third time thereafter. After walking and overshooting the place for almost 2 hours we realized that a Spanish 5 minute is anything short of an hour not counting getting lost from bad directions/language barrier problems.

Changed into some dry cloths then went in a circle looking for a cheap resteraunt for dinner, getting wetter then the first time. Headed to a bar afterwards to watch the soccer game between Barcelona and a Danish team.
