The music festival two weekends ago was extremely fun. Though we arrived in a down pour and had to set up the tent in it, the weekend went very well. It was nice spending time to catch up with Nia and Frida, and getting to know Christina better. I personally found the smaller groups better then the big name performers at the fest. After 6 hours of working to the front row of the second section for Red Hot Chilli Peppers, they have a horrible live performance. After escaping the crowd trying to kill us from behind by going over the fence with the security guard help, we took the time to actually listen to the group rather then worry about our lives, and they can not sing at all. It was by far the worst performance all weekend. They have flashy lights, and computerized video playing on a screen in sink with the music, but the tone was horrible. The lead singer tried 3 times to get the right tone and still failed. I'm glad I didn't pay just to see them live. Groups that I recommend checking out are: Muse(G.B.), The Rasmus(Finish), Lambrette(Swedish), The Roots(G.B), Seeed(German), and Night Wish(Finish). Contact me if your interested in sampling some of the top groups in Europe that haven't made it to the states.
Prague was a beautiful city like people say, but don't know if I would go a second time. The old town, Charles Bridge, and fort overlooking the entire city are definitly worth the trip along with cheap food and drinks. I did have fun, but unfortunatly I don't have a lot to say about the weekend.
