The last week or so has been an attept at productivity for me. With both and oral and written final tomorrow I've been actually trying to study. It helps that most people are in the same type of position, and have been unable to do anything. Weather around here has been extremely weird. We had snow everyother day during the week, and most of the time it was gone the next morning. Thursday and Friday were no snow days, but wonderfully cold just below freezing.
The weekend has been an amazing anomoly. Yesterday I woke up around 9:30, went grocery shopping, went to train station for travel tickets and travel card, then came home and studied for 4 hours(unbelievable i know). Flip side was going to the bday party next door for half an hour then sleeping 4 hours before going to the French party in Zentrum at 3am. I was there till about 6am, got home around 7am after walking some people home. The weird part was the weather, about 45 degrees and very windy. I know 45 doesn't sound impressive, but it was a big change from the 20 the day before and made for great party weather outside.
Today was even better then yesterday weather wise. I woke up at 1pm to beautiful sunny skies(was i still in Darmstadt), 55 degree temperature and 25 mph winds out of the south. The guys next door were already up cleaning from the party yesterday and grilling themselves lunch. I went out jogging for half an hour or so and then came back to clean up and do laundry. The weather is unbelievable for the first day of February but we're loving it. Everyone and their Grandmother was out walking in the park when I went for a jog taking advantage of the weather. I have a feeling we're going to pay for this momentary bliss later in the week. There's the recap, hope everyone's doing good, back to studying.
