Three and a Half Days to Go
At this point I should be all packed and ready to go. Just need to gather all my papers and find some time to study. At this point my Italian is not where I had hoped it would be, but I'll manage to get by. Once I get there it should progress quickly. I can already see that any traveling will have to unfortunately wait untill October. I wanted to travel while it was still warm, but between intensive Italian class and the start of regular classes there wont be any time on the weekend.
As to destinations once I start traveling, I'll have to see Darmstadt for sure, maybe Munich to see Jess. I'd like to see Sheena in GB, but whether I go back to Aber or we meet somewhere else is undetermined. Martin and I need to figure something out as well before he leaves for his tour of Asia.
In the news:
Windmill for you Backyard. I've been thinking about these for a while now. Residentially they don't really work, but if you are a bit more rural or have an acre or more, this would be worth having once you settle down for good.
Flashtops on the way. The tech sector has been long since awaiting this. I don't understand why PDA manufacturers haven't already started this. They still ship products with 512MB built in when they could easily put 8 GB in a PDA.
