IKEA and Eggplant Parmesan

Yesterday as a whole was a very long, but exciting day. An early 7am start for 8:30 class set the pace for the rest of the day of constantly being on the go. Class lasted 4 hours, and we finally managed to do some work from the workbook. Class is about as exciting as a language class can be. IKEA was the after project for some of us. One stop shopping at its best, although the one in Schaumburg makes the one here look like a regular store.

Last night was a special night of festivities. The shops down town were supposed to stay open most of the night, it may have happened, but we never made it down there. We started the night with a late dinner, 10:30 or so. I made eggplant parmesan, which everyone absolutely loved. Much wine and sangria was involved in pre-partying before heading to the bars and the Murazzi. I personally had more fun just hanging out at my apartment, but going out wasn’t bad.
