German Below

Had a wonderful surprise today as I stepped into my first oral final. I though I would give a 6 minute presentation on my topic(usa in WWI) and then the prof would ask questions related to what i had said, and then i would answer. WRONG! I stepped in and he nailed me with questions that I was not prepared for. I'm glad I learned something in Berkelbachs class for US History, or I would have been in big trouble. After about 5 minutes of poor German responses we switched to English, which went only moderately better.
On a happy note we are continueing to enjoy 55 degree weather. It's just aftermidnight and it's still 50 out. Overnight low is expected to be 48. That's forcasted till sunday. I feel sorry for everyone back home suffereing temperatures in the 20's. People keep telling me it's "0" there, but www.weatherchannel.com hasn't shown it getting that cold yet. Stay warm, later.

Ich hatte heute ein wunderbare Uberraschung. Ich ginge zu meiner Mundlicheprufung, und dachte ich eine 6 minuten Referat geben wurde. Aber es war ganz andere. Mein Professor hatte mich Fragen gestellt, und ich hatte nicht vorbereitet. Ich war glucklich, dass ich etwas in US History gelernt hatte. Ich hatte für 5 Minuten auf Deutsch zu Antworten probiert, aber dann redeten wir auf English. Troztdem hatte ich schwerigkeiten.
Was freut mich, ist wir seit Samstag 55 Grad Wetter hatten. Es ist unglaublich für den ersten wochen Februar. Im Nacht ist es nur 48 Grad. Sie sagen, es dauert bis Sontag. Ich fülle mir für euch zu Hause.(Diese Satz ist schlecht. Wenn jemand es korrigieren konnte, lass ein Komment bitte) Ich hatte gehört, es ist in den 20en Grad bei euch oder kälter. Bleib Warm, tschüs.
