The Internet is for ...(WOW)

We have internet, YEAH! It is about time. Not that anyone is ever on aim these days, but I’ll sign on occasionally.

Although last Thursday an Erasmus party took place at a bar in town, last night was the start of the Erasmus party semester for me. I hosted my first party of the semester. I had a group of people over for lasagna, which for those that have had my lasagna before it was not as good. Everyone seemingly enjoyed it, and the presentation was good as always. Desert was cookies and a fizzy desert wine, which turned into an explosive affair when the cork popped out and the wine bottle turned into a fountain. By the time the private party was finishing and the batch of Sangria was made other guests started arriving. In total we managed to get up to 27 people in the apartment, mostly on the balcony. I was impressed with the turn out. I had expected fewer people to come, but the French girl upstairs was having a dinner party with a number of the French students, and they all came down. Mark also brought some French people and an American girl from University of Iowa. The big party didn’t last more than two hours though. By midnight everyone was heading to the main Erasmus party at the Murazzi. I being the boring old guy stayed behind with Pombos, Dorota and Tal. With our Italian exam having been that morning and getting up at 6:30, I didn’t have the energy to go the Murazzi.
